Welcome to Biggin Hill and District Horticultural Society
Much has changed since we were established in 1922, but our aims have remained the same – to encourage interest in gardening, to promote discussion between members and to hold competitive Horticultural Shows and interesting talks monthly.
We have three shows a year – Spring, Summer and Autumn. The weather is sometimes against us, but we always have colourful and well supported shows with plenty of different entries including flower, fruit and vegetable sections, plus a popular domestic section and floral arrangements and juniors sections. Once a year we have photographic and handicraft entries.
We hold other events such as a Plant Sale in May, two quizzes a year and outings to various RHS gardens and other places of interest.
